Poplar Grove National Cemetery Gun Monument

The gun monument is a 32-pound Columbiad seacoast cannon from Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia. In front of the cannon are nineteen cannon balls arranged in a pyramid. The bronze plaque details the total number of original burials and the number of identified and unknown remains.
