The window depicts Christ as Love. Underneath it is dedicated ‘To the Glory of God and to the memory of the men from this parish and neighbourhood who fell in the Great War 1914-1918 whose names are inscribed on the adjacent brasses‘. It was designed by Edward Burne-Jones and unveiled on 11 December 1920 by Lieutenant Colonel H E Joicey, the son of Lord Joicey, and dedicated by the Right Reverend John Quirk, Bishop of Yarrow.
