Private James Doval Stewart was an African-American soldier who served in France with No.2 Construction Company (Coloured). He died of pneumonia in Windsor, Ontario on 19 December 1919 and is buried in Laurel Grove South Cemetery, Savannah. His Commonwealth War Graves Commission record is here.
