Private Hubert Nelson Passells died on 4 February 1921 and is buried in San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning.
Lieutenant Norman Travers Simpkin served in 2nd Light Horse Regiment with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps at Gallipoli, where he was wounded. Later, he was commissioned into the British Army and served in France with the Royal Field Artillery. He retired, sick, in 1917 and died in California on 18 August 1919.
