Vermont

There are four burials in Vermont.

Private Carroll Alfred Conner died of pneumonia in England on 23 May 1917. His body was repatriated and he is buried in East Main Street Cemetery, Newport. His Commonwealth War Graves Commission record is here.

Private Emery John Larock served in France with 19th Canadian Infantry Battalion. He died of tuberculosis on 24 March 1921 after his demobilisation and is buried in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Barton. His Commonwealth War Graves Commission record is here.

Private Henry Alfred Peno served only for several weeks in France before falling ill and being evacuated. He died of tuberculosis on 2 December 1918 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Saint Albans. His Commonwealth War Graves Commission record is here.

Private Corley Deferest Richardson died of pneumonia on 11 October 1918 during the influenza pandemic; he had been in uniform for a little over one month. He is buried in East Richford Cemetery, Richford. His Commonwealth War Graves Commission record is here.
